Senior GL with English – new SSCMiejsce pracy: GdańskResponsibilities:

• Executing accounting operations in the Record To Report area (Bank Statements, General Ledger, Fixed Assets, Inventory, Intercompany, etc.) with high accuracy and efficiency, including daily tasks and Month-End Close activities
• Overseeing complete accounting processes for legal entities, such as Accounts Receivables, Accounts Payables, Inventory, Intercompany, and Treasury
• Compiling the monthly Corporate Reporting Package, including the Balance Sheet, Profit and Loss Statement, Fixed Assets table, and Aging reports
• Performing monthly Balance Sheet and P&L variance analysis
• Creating and reviewing (approving) Balance Sheet reconciliations
• Examining and approving journal entries prepared by team members
• Engaging in process migration from Local Finance Teams to the newly established Shared Service Center
• Maintaining accuracy and data integrity in financial reporting by complying with Internal Control System requirements

Our requirements

• Master Degree in Finance, Accounting or Economics
• Min. 3 years of experience in accounting department (most preferably in RTR/GL)
• Good knowledge of Microsoft Office tools and particularly in MS Excel
• Very good English
• Proactive approach, continous improvement mindset
• Very good analytical skills with attention to details
• Very good communications skills, ability to build the business relationships
• Strong team player
