In this role you will play a pivotal role in designing the R&ED data integration strategy for acquired data. As the Director of Acquisitions Data Integration, you will lead the development and implementation of a fit-for-purpose strategy for integration of R&ED data from acquisitions to meet business requirements. You will be responsible for solutions deployment to ensure business continuity of acquired resources and lead the standardization of tools, processes, and methodologies supporting R&ED M&A through continuous improvement and innovation.Your main responsibilities will include:
- Leading the development and execution of the R&ED data integration that comes from mergers and acquisitions to ensure business continuity
- Working with R&ED end users to classify, document, and integrate M&A data assets into internal systems
- Planning and executing data migration strategies for structured and unstructured data to maintain data consistency
- Collaborating with legal, quality and compliance teams to address legal context of data assets in deals and ensure compliance with regulations and deal terms
- Identifying data transfer risks and develop strategies to mitigate them, maintaining comprehensive documentation and reporting
Qualifications
To thrive and succeed in this position we imagine you have:
- A PhD within Life Sciences, Pharmacy or Computational Science
- A minimum of 10 years of industry or equivalent experience within drug discovery
- Solid people leadership experience
- Strong experience in data integration and migration strategies, preferably in a global organization
As a person, you lead by example showing initiative and enthusiasm to drive processes. You have strong analytical and problem-solving skills and excellent communication and negotiation skills. You are used to collaborating effectively with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.About The Department
