Mercer Italy is looking for candidates passionate about making a difference in the careers of thousands of people to join through an exciting and fruitful internship in the Career Product division team based in Milan.

What can you expect?

Mercer’s Career Product division supports companies in optimizing their performance through individually appropriate HR management strategies. We offer expert advice on topics such as international and national compensation strategies, talent or change management as well as restructuring of the HR function.

As a Mercer Intern you will have the opportunity to work with a wide range of clients to help them develop and implement reward programs for their employees, providing expert advice on pay philosophy, reward strategy, incentive design, market trends, regulations and best practices

We will count on you to:

  • Gain comprehensive insights into talent management trends, compensation practices, and policies for a specific client and the broader market.
  • Identify market trends and customer needs and support the evolution of Mercer products and services;
  • Provide support in the production of compensation surveys and analyze annual results to develop market trends based on industry, geography, role, and other relevant factors.
  • Take on project management responsibilities for national and international consulting projects, with a specific focus on international compensation. Collaborate effectively within national and international project teams.
  • Work closely with colleagues to ensure the accuracy and validity of market data, while meeting client specifications. Make necessary revisions as required.
  • Create informative exhibits that compare market compensation data with client compensation data, facilitating clear and concise presentations.
  • Assist in the preparation of client presentations and reports by utilizing Excel data and PowerPoint, ensuring high-quality deliverables for review by senior consultants.

What you need to have:

  • master’s Degree in Economics, Management, Organization, Management Engineering or similar;
  • fluency in both Italian and English languages;
  • excellent use of Microsoft Office (Power Point, Excel and Outlook)
  • strong organizational and communication skills;
  • a strong passion for design processes.
