We offer the opportunity to do an ESG (Environmental, Social & Governance) fulltime-internship. ESG is high on the agenda of many large companies and society has been demanding transparency hierarchy for some time now. Our clients need and want to act on ESG, and PwC wants to achieve this together with our clients.What you will be doing
During the internship, you will be mentored by a supervisor/buddy from our ESG team. Moreover, you will have access to knowledge, data, and the (inter)national network of ESG professionals where impact and innovation are central. We expect you to be curious about the developments in the field and driven to make a difference with the team. A successful internship can be your steppingstone to get to know sustainability in practice and unlock further career opportunities at PwC.Does this describe you?
If you are curious by nature, interested in the field of ESG and have a proactive mindset, then we are looking for you! Furthermore, you are also:

  • interested in sustainability, sustainability reporting, and the ever-changing landscape of ESG, and you can demonstrate this by means of previous schooling or experience
  • following a university master’s program with excellent academic results and/or relevant extracurricular activities
  • a team player and possess strong communication skills
  • interested to analyze new issues and find solutions in a practical and creative way
  • critical, result-oriented, and able to work independently
  • organized, detailed and work efficiently
  • available for 24-40 hours a week and for at least 6 months.

What are we offering?
Our ESG-team has three focus areas: assurance, climate & reporting and sustainable finance & responsible investment. This means that our work is very diverse: in one assignment you advise a company on determining their ESG strategy, and in the next assignment you help a bank implement various sustainable finance laws and regulations, such as the EU Taxonomy and the SFDR. The PwC ESG team advises clients on a broad range of ESG-related topics from ESG reporting, to ESG strategy and ESG due diligence. We also help companies measure and report ESG KPIs, in accordance with recognized governance, environmental and reporting standards.
