The position

We are looking for a CRDI manager position in our Competitive Research and Development Intelligence Group within Oncology. We offer a highly interesting position which allows you to gain broad knowledge about oncologic indications, hot topics and trends in oncology, in depth knowledge about specific targets and drug modalities, strategic thinking and planning.
The successful applicant will be a highly motivated, dynamic and well-organized individual with a pursuit of accuracy and completeness who will be viewed as an independent expert and who will liaise with internal customers in research, development, medicine and marketing to provide critical competitive input to the therapeutic strategy on a project level. In this role you`ll be an essential part of projects from early research on until proof of clinical principle in Phase I. The contract is limited to 3 years.

Tasks & responsibilities

  • Be a part of the highly motivated CRDI team led by a Scientific Director for CRDI for the therapeutic area Oncology.
  • Provide and present comprehensive Competitive Intelligence within the field of both cancer-cell directed and immune-oncology therapies for your specific projects.
  • Collect, filter and analyse information from publicly available sources supplemented by powerful databases, indication specific reports, access to congress data and literature and present independent judgement to early and late-stage project teams as well as management.
  • Contribute to and follow the global governance of Competitive Intelligence under review of the Corporate Head of Research and the Discovery Research Leadership Committee.

Requirements

  • Ph.D. in Life Sciences with at least 3 years background in oncology research or development or a medical affairs position in oncology (such as MSL or medical information manager)
  • Good understanding of clinical data and interpretation is key
  • Competitive Intelligence experience and regulatory knowledge (FDA, EMA) is advantageous
  • Ability to independently analyse and judge information based on broad oncology knowledge, critical thinking and strategic considerations
  • Ability to effectively network internally and to work in cross-functional teams
  • Excellent team working and communication skills (English as working language) as well as experience in working with databases and IT tools

The remuneration for this position starts at EUR 70.000 gross annual salary (full time). When defining the actual salary we are taking your technical skills as well as personal competencies and relevant professional experience into consideration.
