A client based in Brussels is looking for a Automotive Software Engineer for an initial 6 month contract.

The candidate will be joining the computer SW team to implement new features and improve existing software related to various automotive projects, focusing on the development of tools for integration, validation, testing, and demos. You will work with a friendly and dynamic team composed of different backgrounds and nationalities and interact with internal and external customers
Implement or improve features for our automotive software suite
Work with the Company to understand and identify limitations of the existing algorithm and design and develop the software to improve the feature coverage based on tests and customer feedback
Support other automotive teams in their development and validation efforts

Skills:
Experience of software development in C++ and Python
Experience in Machine Learning / Computer vision
Knowledge of how to use CMake, Gitlab and CI pipelines for the development of software
Create prototypes for rapid iterations and can then integrate these prototypes into our software
Autonomously test and validate libraries and software developed by yourself and other teams and provide constructive and structured feedback to improve it
Open to learn new topics and extend the reach of your work
Previous experience in automotive is a strong plus
