Acoustic Consultant
My client is a distinguished multi-disciplinary consultancy specialising in environmental, health, and safety services. They are renowned for delivering tailored solutions to tackle intricate environmental, health, and safety challenges.
Requirements:
* BSc and/or with an MSc in Acoustics or a related field
* AMIOA or MIOA Accredited membership from the IOA
* Excellent written and verbal communication skills
* Experience of undertaking onsite noise and vibration assessments and surveys and compiling data in readiness for final technical reports
* Valid driver’s licence
* Working knowledge of the British Standards and key regulations
Responsibilities:
* Assist junior employees on site to ensure project success
* Collate survey data and create a technical report for clients
* Conduct regular noise and vibration inspections to ensure compliance with British standards and building regulations at all project stages
* Perform regular environmental noise surveys and conduct necessary calculations
* Provide clients with expert guidance and remedial advice to prevent technical issues that could affect project completion and timelines
* Revise project plans and designs to ensure alignment with client specifications and statutory guidance
