Our client is looking for an experienced Acoustic Consultant to join their independent multi-disciplinary environmental consultancy. The successful candidate will have the opportunity to work on various types of projects including residential, commercial, and mixed-use development.
Acoustic Consultant Requirements:
* Relevant Acoustics degree or similar
* Experience in conducting acoustic assessments and providing solutions
* Proficiency in acoustic modelling software such as CadnaA or Insul
* Full UK driving license
* Computer Literate E.g. Excel & Microsoft Package
* Excellent communication skills, written and verbal
* Member of the Institute of Acoustics (IoA)
Acoustic Consultant Duties:
* Acoustic assessments and undertaking noise monitoring
* Data analysis to provide clients recommendations for noise control
* Liaise with planning consultants, architects, engineers, and clients to design effective acoustic solutions
* Prepare technical reports outlining findings and proposed solutions
* Site visits
* Support with business development
