Job Spec: Our client is an established and well-regarded Research Consultancy with continued growth and a really great range of public and private sector clients. They continue to thrive by providing evidence based strategic advice to a range of important corporations ,media owners’ utilities plc’s and government. They now have an opportunity for a strategically, and commercially minded corporate research director or senior associate to join this team of bright sparks and dedicated researchers.This is to work primarily on a prestigious and a high-profile account with one of the main governing bodies in the fast changing and exciting world of football. There are always budgets to do things right in this unique space and the client is very proactive and dynamic. They aim to in evolve in a positive and harmonious direction across all of their initiatives which are varied and ongoing. They care what all their stakeholders think and work hard to achieve an up to the minute understanding of people’s opinions in a world where people have strong and passionate beliefs and can be very vocal. In this world there is steady stream of big questions to be answered through stakeholder engagement high quality mixed method research. So, we are seeking someone with plenty of enthusiasm for this work and lets be frank if you are already a footie or sports fan you are going to find this interesting stuff .You will be expected to work on other clients and be part of the business development output from time to time so you should have a broad range of interests and be the type that is curious about how the business world works and follow the current affairs and political trends that influence it.You will need to demonstrate outstanding storytelling, written and verbal skills and comfortable managing projects independently. You have experience of leading client relationships and are confident in a client facing role. You can creatively apply research to business challenges and use your initiative to grow, develop and learn.You will lead in designing and conducting projects, thinking creatively to determine the best approach for addressing client challenges and then managing colleagues to produce final reports, presentations, and recommendations for the client. Often you will work with other senior directors and principals, but you will also be expected to lead projects .
