We are looking for:

• Syensqo has decided to create a startup team, Syensqo.ai, dedicated to the AI and Generative AI domain. By taking this role, the Product Owner will join this team right at its inception. Its mantra is simple: deliver value in a fast fashion, with speed, and agility while taking no compromise on compliance, ethics, guardrails, or regulations.

• The Product Owner will contribute to the growth and development of this startup while keeping a very sharp focus on the delivery of prioritized items. In the current business, macroeconomic, and climate crisis context, time of execution will be of the essence.

• With a focus on innovation to achieve growth, we are seeking an experienced visionary AI & Generative AI Product Owner to join our team and lead the development of groundbreaking AI-powered products. • You will play a pivotal role in shaping the future of our flagship product: SyGPT.

• Key responsibilities:

• Product Leadership : Act as the Product Owner for SyGPT product within a SCRUM team, ensuring that all development activities align with the company’s strategic goals and deliver exceptional value.

• Backlog Management : Manage the product backlog for SyGPT, prioritizing clarity, relevance, and development readiness. Lead sprint planning, execution, and review sessions to ensure timely delivery of features.

• Vision & Strategy: Develop and communicate a clear vision and strategy for SyGPT, supporting the company’s objectives. Regularly update the roadmap to reflect evolving business needs and technology opportunities.

• Stakeholder Engagement: Serve as the principal liaison between technical teams and business units. Regularly engage with stakeholders to gather requirements, provide updates, and incorporate feedback to enhance the platform’s functionality.

• Performance Monitoring: Utilize key performance indicators to track the platform’s effectiveness and guide decision-making for improvements or future enhancements.

• Market Insight: Analyze market trends in AI and chatbot technologies to continuously improve the platform and ensure it remains competitive and cutting-edge.

• Governance & Prioritization : Implement governance within the Agile framework to facilitate effective decision-making and maintain focus on high-impact projects.

• User Adoption & Feedback : Evaluate the adoption rates and user satisfaction of the platform, adjusting strategies based on real user feedback and analytics. Collaborate with change management to maximize user engagement and satisfaction.

• Stakeholder Interactions:

• User Engagement: Build and maintain strong relationships with internal users to deeply understand their needs and gather continual feedback, ensuring SyGPT evolves in alignment with user requirements and business strategies.

• Cross-Functional Collaboration: Coordinate with other product teams, business stakeholders, and IT departments to ensure strategic alignment and smooth integration of SYGPT across various business functions.

• Leadership Alignment: Maintain a proactive dialogue with IT and company leadership to ensure the platform’s development is in line with broader technology strategies and company-wide initiatives.

You will bring:

• 5+ years as a Product Owner building software.

• 3+ years of software development experience in an Agile setting (Agile/Scrum methodology experience (SAFE methodology)).

• Proven experience in product management, ideally with a focus on AI or technology products.

• Strong understanding of generative AI technologies (e.g., GPT, Mistral, Gemini…) and their applications.

• Proficiency in using project management and collaboration tools (e.g., JIRA, Trello) is preferred.

• Strong organizational & time management skills, with a self-starting, entrepreneurial mindset.

• Team player and leader capable of bringing people together toward a common goal.

• Proven ability to translate non-technical information into a technical level of detail that developers can work with.

• Being data-driven (OKRs and KPIs) to validate the roadmap to management.

• CSPO or PSPO I certification

• Fluent in English (proficient in French is preferred).

• Exceptional strategic thinking, analytical, and problem-solving skills.

• Creativity, curiosity, and a passion for innovation and technology.
