MORE ABOUT THIS JOB:What we do:Corporate Treasury plays a central role in the firm’s overall strategy with responsibility for providing appropriate funding to support all firmwide activity while maximizing net interest income. The division allocates financial resources, raises funding and capital to support firm activity, and dynamically manages the firm’s asset liability risk and liquidity portfolio. Corporate Treasury actively engages in public markets and with businesses across the firm, investors, ratings agencies and regulators. The division is ideal for collaborative individuals with strong quantitative analysis skills, interest in portfolio management and a risk management mind set.How we’re organized:Corporate Treasury is responsible for financial resource management and asset liability management to facilitate all firm activity at the lowest cost possible. Functional teams within Corporate Treasury focus on resource allocation, funding planning and origination, asset liability management, trading execution, liquidity projections, liquidity policies and platforms, regulatory engagement, and LIBOR transition. The division is run by the Global Treasurer and works closely with the CFO, each of the firm’s businesses, Controllers, Operations, and Investor Relations among other groups at the firm.Who we look for:Professionals in Corporate Treasury have an analytical mind set, exhibit intellectual curiosity and are from diverse academic backgrounds. Strong communication and interpersonal skills are needed in order to work successfully with diverse internal and external stakeholders including businesses, external creditors and regulators. RESPONSIBILITIES AND QUALIFICATIONS:About the Role:The Corporate Treasury (“CT”) Liquidity Explain, Attribution & Projections (“LEAP”) team is seeking an Analyst in Warsaw. Projections team measures, projects, and understands the firm’s liquidity position on a daily basis to meet internal and external risk limits.

  • Define the liquidity strategy of the firm, working with the Treasurer, Chief Risk Officer and Chief Financial Officer
  • Execute strategic initiatives including communicating across global teams/divisions related to explaining and forecasting liquidity state of the firm
  • Understand the current liquidity state of the firm, and key activities driving an increase or reduction in the liquidity pool
  • Forecast the future liquidity state of the firm, in partnership with business heads and other treasury leaders to optimize the liquidity pool and benefit the firm’s bottom-line
  • Work together with engineering and strategists team to innovate on cutting edge tools and systems to continuously enhance our liquidity forecasting and management capabilities
  • Incentivize businesses to ensure optimal cost vs profitability balance
  • Build presentations for CEO, CFO, Board of Directors and Banking regulators

Basic experience

  • Strong interpersonal and communication (written and verbal) skills
  • Strong analytical skills and aptitude with numbers
  • Basic knowledge of liquidity management and treasury / liquidity risk functions
  • Self-motivated team player with the ability to adapt in a dynamic and changing organization
  • Commercial focus, ready to take ownership and accountability, organizational/prioritization skills, proactive, ability to multitask

Preferred experience

  • Approximately 1 – 3 years of working experience in Treasury or finance-related functions in a major financial institution or corporate
