PMH operates on behalf of Proximus Group as well as external clients on the Belgian market.Pickx+, Pickx+ Sports and Pickx Live are entirely PMH driven.Who are we looking for?As Pre-Sales/Solution Architect, you are a member of the Market & Projects team. You advise the team lead in order to close the sales deals by providing technical expertise and customized solutions to potential customers. Your ability to understand customer requirements and propose tailored solutions drives successful presales engagements.
The Pre-Sales/Solution Architect plays a key role in building customer confidence, addressing technical concerns, and winning sales opportunities. With your technical knowledge, businesses can showcase product capabilities, meet customer needs effectively, and build long-lasting customer relationships.
The primary goal of the function is to develop new business for PMH and Proximus in the media industry.
Your work supports sales conversions, market expansion, and customer satisfaction, positioning businesses for successful sales outcomes and sustained growth. You work closely with TBI technical teams (Technology, Broadcast & Infrastructure) and with Proximus colleagues from EBU, NBU and Finance.
You are constantly connected to the market to identify new approaches in building solutions, being an ambassador for PMH.Your main responsibilities are:

  • Develop solutions and organize, plan, create and deliver compelling proof of concept demonstrations.
  • Ensure solutions stated are best practice and in line with client requirements.
  • Work closely with the Market & Projects team to ensure the successful implementation of the sales process and the closing of sales deals.
  • You will develop, in co-creation with technical teams, new solutions in the areas of Fiber contribution, Remote production, 5G AI, Cyber security.
  • Work closely with the TBI technical teams to provide feedback from clients about product requirements.
  • Manage the sales bid process by responding to RFI’s & RFP’s.
  • Keep abreast of market trends and product & competitor landscapes to plan sales strategies.
  • Monitor the service catalog and ensure that proper applications and updates are made.
  • Liaise with the team to undertake demand-generating activities such as trade shows or customer workshops.
  • Be ambassador and SPOC for media and technical sales solutions within PMH.
  • Prepare sales proposals and sporadically train other sales representatives.
  • Understand customer needs and translate this into tailor-made solutions during sales presentations.

Knowledge and technical skills required

  • 5+ years experience in the Media & Broadcast sector
  • 5+ years of experience as Presales / Solution sales.
  • Good knowledge of processes for handling RFP’s and RFI’s
  • Experience in building POCs at customers
  • Experience working with national and international customers.
  • Analytical skills and the ability to recognize the demands on the side of the clients.
  • Fluent in Dutch or French and good level of English (verbal and written)
