WHO WE ARE LOOKING FORWe’re looking for a Financial Analyst to join our Nike Stores Finance team at Nike EHQ. The primary responsibilities include business partnering with functional leads to support the short term and medium terms financial targets.Main responsibilitiesSupport the team with Month end close activities including analysis and validation of actuals resultsInterpret, analyze and review financial results and KPIs to provide recommmendations, ensure accountability and drive performanceSupport the financial planning cycles by preparing necessary submission templates and deliverablesPrepare and analyse various daily, weekly and monthly financial reports for business updates on performancePrepare variance analysis to explain the performance of cost centers vs budget, forecast and prior yearProvide financial support to the Business offense and Real estate teams to prepare quarterly fleet reviews and ad hoc door analysisOptimize processes within the financial cycle through automation with the continual goal to improve accruacyAssist business partners with ad hoc financial analysisWHAT YOU WILL WORK ONA typical month is determined by the monthly financial calendar central guidance.Week 1 will be concentrated on month end activities with analysis/commentary to support the variance analysis. Working with the team to submit updated forecast plans.Mid month will be focused on ad hoc analysis which can range from Cost center deep dive analysis to Fleet review analysis. Business partnership with key stakeholder to discuss plan and alignment for next forecast cycleWeek 4 will be orientated around preparing files and templates in time for the forecast submissionWHO YOU WILL WORK WITHThis is the Nike matrix: Who they will be managing / reporting to / teams and divisions they will liaise withYou will report to the Stores Financial manager. You will work with the Store Finance teams across various parts of the portfolio. You will regularly collaborate, work and benckmark with your team members. Your key business stakeholders will include Cost center owners, Business offense and Real Estate team.WHAT YOU BRING

  • Bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting or related field
  • Proficient with Microsoft Excel, SAP and experience in Power BI is a bonus
  • Demonstrated experience working in a team environment as well as working independently with minimal supervision
  • Excellent communication, analytical and problem solving skills
