Registered Mental Health or Learning Disability Nurse

Our client operates a Forensic medium secure psychiatric hospital, which cares for both mental illness and learning disability patients including an Autistic Spectrum Disorder service and a female service.

As a Mental Health Nurse/Learning Disability Nurse, your role will include but not be limited to:

A· Assessing and monitoring the needs of patients

A· Collaboratively planning the care needs of the patient

A· Developing positive behavioural support plans with patients

A· Being an active part of the multi-disciplinary team

A· Administering medication

To be successful in this role, you’ll need:

* A· Registered Nurse Qualification (RMN/RNLD) with a valid NMC PIN
* A· To be a team player
* A· To be self-aware, seeking support and advice when required
* A· Good listening and rapport-building ability
* A· To be able to organise and prioritise your time
