Role

The position of Chief of Staff actively supports the CEO in scaling Voodoo in the coming years, structuring executive routines and managing initiatives across business units towards strategic company goals. This role is essentially to be the right hand of the leadership group on the most strategic topics across the company.

Responsabilities

  • Challenge, formalise, and ensure the good execution of the Voodoo strategy
  • Increase the effectiveness of our CEO in cascading initiatives down at all levels (streamline processes and communication)
  • Ensure the smooth running of all company routines (executive meetings, performance reviews, presentation to employees, board meetings, etc.)
  • Support the CEO in key M&A and fund raising activities
  • Identify key strategic projects for the company, ensure that they are appropriately staffed with the right stakeholders, monitor their evolution and ensure that they are delivered on time
  • Help the CEO to hire for key positions in the company (VP/C-level roles, strategy roles, etc.)
  • Perform market research & analysis on key opportunities to scale Voodoo
  • Help structure and scale the company and coordinate core business functions and support functions to reach strategic goals
  • Occasionally, step in to run one-off projects (e.g. fund raising process, launch of new business venture, M&A integration, etc.)

Profile

  • Deep strategic and systemic thinking
  • Versatile mind, able to learn fast and challenge business-as-usual operations
  • Demonstrable competency in strategic planning and business development
  • Organizational and leadership abilities
  • Passion for the tech industry
  • Low ego, humble, no political behavior
  • Top Engineering or Business School
  • Management experience in a top tier consulting firm (Mc Kinsey, Bain, BCG,…)
  • Fluent in French and English
