Mediplacements are looking to recruit a band 6 Speech and Language Therapist for a locum position with our client in Lancashire.
The pay for this position is GBP23-GBP28 per hour, and we are looking for someone who can start as soon as possible for an ongoing duration.
Job Description:
We are seeking an enthusiastic and motivated Speech and Language Therapist to work within an Integrated Community Stroke and Neurorehabilitation Service, on a full-time or part time basis The post holder will be an experienced Speech and Language Therapist, with knowledge of stroke and neurorehabilitation. The post holder will be providing a responsive and person-centred service, delivering the best client outcome through supporting and optimising peoples recovery in the hospital setting and at home, bridging the transition between the acute hospital and community care settings. The post holder will be responsible for the management of a caseload of adults with a variety of swallowing and communication difficulties. The post holder will enable our clients to achieve their goals to enable independence and improve their quality of life by working collaboratively across the different care groups. The post holder will need to manage a clinical caseload of clients as a lone worker without direct supervision, however, support from the immediate and wider team is always available. The post holder will need to have a full UK driving license and access to a vehicle.
