Apply today for this exciting opening!The Project Engineers play a crucial role in delivering projects on our site and are responsible for planning, coordinating, and supervising various aspects of project development, from concept to completion, to ensure timely delivery of high-quality solutions that meet regulatory requirements and business objectives.In this role you will contribute towards delivery of engineering projects as a team member in high complexity project (CAPEX > 3 M EUR) and as a Project Lead, taking full ownership of medium complexity projects (< 3 M EUR).Key Responsibilities

  • Project Leadership: Use project management tools to guide teams, define scope, manage contracts, and ensure compliance with safety and regulatory standards.
  • Project Planning: Collaborate on comprehensive project plans encompassing timelines, resources, and budgets.
  • Requirements Definition: Engage with partners to articulate user requirements aligned with business objectives and regulatory standards.
  • Tendering and Design: Develop preliminary designs, manage vendor quotations, and oversee purchase orders.
  • Detailed Design: Coordinate design reviews and risk assessments to meet user requirements.
  • Commissioning & Qualification: Organize acceptance testing, support equipment qualification, and resolve discrepancies.
  • Close Out: Ensure timely closure of project goals with appropriate documentation.
  • Continuous Improvement: Drive initiatives to benchmark engineering processes, identify areas for improvement, and optimize efficiency.

QualificationsEducation:

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent degree in Engineering (Chemical, Mechanical, or Industrial), required.

Experience and Skills:Required:

  • Minimum 2 years of experience in the (bio)pharmaceutical industry or related academic field.
  • Strong technical expertise in engineering design, construction management, and validation.
  • Familiarity with regulatory standards (ICH, EMA, CFR) and industry practices (ISPE, PDA).
  • Excellent communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to thrive in a dynamic environment with multiple partners and priorities.

Preferred:

  • Experience with cGMP inspections, process excellence, and project management
