GL Accountant
PL23/WAWA/SA/GLACCOUNTANTOur customer works at the heart of the global travel industry and provides the technology which keeps the travel sector moving.Project information:
- Location: Katowice; remote work model (1 visit in the office per quarter)
- Type of employment: B2B or contract of employment
- Remuneration: 11 000 – 13 000 PLN gross
- Level: Mid
- Contract length: till March 2025 (with the possibilty to extend the contract)
- Start date: ASAP
Responsibilities:
- Preparing journal entries
- Processing invoices, travel expenses, payrolls and payments proposals
- Posting bank statements
- Reconcilling of balance sheets accounts
- Posting accurals
- Preparing reports and assisting in preparation of financial statements
- Ensuring master data maintenance and compliance with local GAAP and IFRS regulations
- Cooperating with other financial/accounting teams, tax providers and auditors
Requirements:
- Minimum 2 years’ of working experience in full accounting/GL department
- Knowledge of accounting regulations
- Very good written and spoken English (B2 level)
- Good knowledge of Excel
- Team working and problem-solving skills
- Knowledge of Symfonia (nice to have)
