The Position

The Corporate Communication Manager is supervised by the Public & Corporate Affairs (PA & CA) Manager, within the Governmental Affairs & Rare Disease department and is a member of the country Public Affairs team.

The purpose of the job is all about catching and sharing the full story of Novo Nordisk with external stakeholders, with focus on media and policy makers. Our story encompasses amongst other things our legacy, our sustainable way of working, disease prevention, as well as the value of our portfolio for patients using our current and future products.

Among your main responsibilities will be:

-Development of tactical plans and projects to achieve our national Governmental Affairs objectives
-Advice on tactical delivery of communications & public affairs plans and tactics to build and maintain effective communication with media, politicians, government employees and general public.
-Proactive and reactive creation and delivery of corporate messages.
-Issues management comms planning & execution and managing day to day relationships with media and internal stakeholders.
-Effective media and political monitoring, interpretation, and reporting.
-Working closely with colleagues – both in NL, EU and on a Global level to ensure alignment and timing of key communication
-Ensuring legal and CGR compliance in all PA/CA activities and communications, in line with our company’s business ethics policy
 

Qualifications

The candidate shall have Master´s degree in preferably political science, communications, or related field. Other requirements are:

-2-3 years minimum in PA/CA related field; media, corporate communications
-Fluent Dutch, and adequate English
-Interest, knowledge of/and network in Dutch Healthcare (desirable), Dutch Media landscape (essential)
-Interest, knowledge of/and network in Dutch political and governmental stakeholder field (desirable)
-Good writing and advisory skills and ability to plan the work effectively and manage projects
-Being a team player with good networking skills and business acumen
 

About the Department

The Corporate Communications Manager will be part of the Governmental Affairs & Rare Disease department, supervised by the PA & CA Manager. This department plays a crucial role in maintaining positive relations with external stakeholders, including the general public, shareholders, investors, and government entities. As a member of the team, you will have the opportunity to contribute to addressing social, economic, and environmental challenges and promoting our organization’s image in a positive way.
