This is an exciting opportunity for a professional to support HR and the Digital business in making better decisions, ensuring we have the right people in the right place at the right time to deliver improved business performance. This role will support the Workforce Management Specialist in delivering end-to-end workforce planning, forecasting, reporting, analysis, and improvement project delivery across Digital.

What you’ll be doing

•Support workforce planning and headcount forecasting through the budget/forecast process.

•Produce regular and ad hoc workforce reporting and analysis to ensure we deliver against our commitments and highlight potential risks and issues.

•Provide workforce insight and analysis to support HR and business planning, decision-making, and addressing complex business challenges.

•Contribute to strategic workforce planning to ensure we plan for future skills and deliver the right people in the right place at the right time.

•Support the delivery of key enablers to drive change and manage costs across the business (e.g., consultation support, voluntary paid leaver schemes, position management, and recruitment approvals process).

•Support business unit reviews with senior leaders by converting data into meaningful insights and articulating key achievements, challenges, risks/dependencies, and future plans.

•Share knowledge and provide guidance and support to HR and business unit teams.

Skills and experience

•Numerate, with strong analytical capability and the ability to work with large, complex datasets.

•Strong IT and data management skills, highly competent in Microsoft Office applications (e.g., Excel, PowerPoint). Knowledge of HR systems (e.g., SAP SuccessFactors) and/or data tools (e.g., Qlik, Power BI, Pivot, Automate) is desirable.

•Stakeholder management – able to work closely with and build strong relationships with key stakeholders across HR, Finance, and the business.

•Communication – able to articulate key insights and messages clearly and concisely, translating complex data into simple headlines and messaging.

•Tenacious attention to detail – ability to check, spot potential issues, challenge, and ask questions. High standards and pride in how work is presented.

•Able to work independently and prioritise tasks to deliver within tight timescales.
