About UsKing’s College London is seeking a Senior Education Solutions Analyst to contribute to the successful design, development, and delivery of our 2029 Vision and Student Futures initiatives. This role ensures that solutions align with business needs, adhere to agreed standards, and comply with architectural principles.About The RoleWhile being highly technical and hands-on, you will also play a key role as the technical lead in delivering complex education solutions across various products and technologies.This includes working closely with business stakeholders, product managers, scrum masters, and coordinating with business analysts, testing/transition analysts, and other key project stakeholders as required. You will ensure that education solutions are designed, implemented, and adopted in accordance with King’s architectural principles, creating excellent value for our business.The successful candidate will be central to developing the technical vision for King’s Moodle instance. You will develop, maintain, and enhance the Moodle platform to meet the needs of our faculty and students, aligning with our strategy.You will work closely with the Education Product Owners and the Education Architect.This post will be offered on an indefinite contract.This is a full-time post – 100% full time equivalent.About youTo be successful in this role, we are looking for candidates to have the following skills and experience:Essential criteria * Technical understanding and support specialist with substantial relevant expertise in education applications such as Moodle, Kaltura and Echo360, Turnitin and other educational platforms.

  • Being able to design and develop education applications that involves liaising with a variety of stakeholders and working existing team members.
  • A commitment to continually improve customer experience, delivering service level agreements with both customers and suppliers.
  • Technical management of projects of varying size, complexity and related resources, i.e. major upgrades to Moodle or major systems.
  • Good understanding of data, integration technologies and web services.
  • Experienced in understanding functional and non-functional for specifying product requirements
  • Experienced in working with third parties (both internal and external) to deliver IT solutions
  • Excellent stakeholder engagement with key stakeholders in the Education and Students domain on the development and use of Student and Education Products and IT Services

Desirable criteria * Experience of working within an Agile development framework

  • A solid understanding of IT design governance with the ability to facilitate design decisions across development, configuration, integration, infrastructure, security, availability, storage, and change management.
