MissionAt IBA, our Clinical Digital team is dedicated to developing cutting-edge software solutions that empower us to deliver top-tier services globally. We embrace agility, take ownership, and continuously challenge the status quo.Join us as a Fullstack Software Engineer and contribute to the development of our machine data platform, which collects data from Proton Therapy Sites worldwide. This platform aids in operations, troubleshooting, and the enhancement of our service offerings. Currently utilized by over 700 employees daily, we are planning to extend its functionalities to customers and external partners. With a robust roadmap for future developments, you’ll work under the guidance of a product owner and a technical lead to drive technical success that aligns with our business objectives.Challenges we trust you with

  • Participate in the technical design of software solutions.
  • Write production-grade code and develop customized user interfaces.
  • Implement complex business logic on the backend.
  • Ensure extensive testing coverage and maintain high code quality.
  • Operate and monitor the solution in a live production environment.
  • Document technical processes and support ongoing issue resolution.

What we valueEssentials:

  • Master’s degree in Computer Science or equivalent practical experience.
  • Proven track record as a full stack software engineer.
  • Proficient in web application development across:
  • Back-end: Kotlin/Java (using frameworks like Micronaut or Spring Boot and tools such as Gradle or Maven).
  • Front-end: Angular.
  • Scripting: Python.
  • Experienced with container technologies such as Docker and Kubernetes.
  • Skilled in using Microsoft Azure and Atlassian products (Jira, Confluence).
  • Familiar with standard software development practices including Git, code reviews, CI/CD processes.
  • A keen eye for UI/UX design principles.

Desirable:

  • Agile and Scrum certifications.
  • Knowledge of DevOps practices.
  • Understanding of different programming models and paradigms like event-driven architecture and SOA.

Soft Skills:

  • Excellent communication skills in English.
  • Team-oriented, open-minded, and quality-focused.
  • Eager to embrace new technologies and continuously update your knowledge.
