Job description

As an IP-integration expert you will be a key enabler in bringing complex designs to life. Your know-how will guide the definition and execution of effective IP-Integration methodologies, while your problem-solving skills will help you debug and resolve issues that arise during the integration process. 

In your new role you will:

  • Work in the R&D Mixed-Signal IC design organization
  • Become a key enabler for Mixed-Signal IP-Integration into the Sub-System or System on Chip (SoC), with regards requested design views from the customer
  • Act closely with the subsystem/SoC teams on right power/timing/net listing strategy for the IP integration
  • Define the proper IP-integration method for analog/digital or mixed signal blocks
  • Debug and solve issues regarding mixed-signal IP-integration.
  • Drive improvements of the state-of-the-art mixed-signal IP-delivery methodologies
  • Guide and support IP designers regarding the usage of state-of-the art integration methods

Your Profile

You are best equipped for this task if you have:

  • A University Bachelor or Master degree in Electrical/Electronics Engineering, Computer Science or equivalent
  • At least 3-5 years of experience in digital, analog or mixed-signal design
  • Experience with Cadence Virtuoso or Cadence/Synopsys RTL2GDS tools
  • Experience with CAD methodology for digital and/or analog design and integration.
  • Knowledge of UPF and Digital IP power strategy
  • Programming or scripting skills, like Perl, TCL, Python (Skill is a plus)
  • Knowledge of HDL languages (System Verilog, VHDL) and experience with Unix/Linux and strong debugging skills
  • Solid networking and customer oriented soft skills
  • Good verbal and written English skills (mandatory)

We are filling this position through one of our leasing partners. A valid work permit for Austria or EU citizenship is a prerequisite for this position. This position is subject to the collective agreement for workers and employees of EEI with a minimum salary of 4.215,39 € (gross) per month. The salary is paid 14 times p.a. A higher payment is negotiable depending on your expertise and skills.
