We are looking for a Senior Project Manager for our newly established project centre of excellence (COE) within Assembly and Pack in Device Manufacturing and Development (DMD).You will have the opportunity to become part of something bigger, growing your career, and putting your print in building our project execution strategy to the benefit of millions of patients around the globe. As Senior Project Manager in the CoE, you will be driving the development and deployment of the future project execution strategy across the whole Product Supply Quality and IT (PSQIT) unit, which is composed of 5 areas and 17 sites.You will be a part of establishing and building up our new Project/Program COE and leading the project execution capability building, project method development, and training of project managers.Your main focus areas include:

  • Ensure communication to our stakeholders about the strategic direction and ensure buy in from our many stakeholders.
  • Ensuring that projects initiated follow the project operating model for the area.
  • Collaborate with subject matter experts and peer project managers to drive improvements and lean project execution.
  • Continuously optimising the overall governance framework, ensuring a clear definition of the roles and responsibilities between Steering Group, Portfolio Group, Project Owner, Program Manager and the project group.
  • Promoting knowledge sharing and ensure training throughout the project organisation and fostering best practices that impact the development of our project operating model.

Your experiences include:

  • An academic degree, preferably a Master’s degree in business, engineering or any other relevant field.
  • Demonstrate experience with Project Management, Program Management, and driving strategic investment projects in a global stakeholder landscape.
  • Change management and innovation skills. A LEAN mindset is an advantage.
  • Experience in making presentations at Management and Sr. Management level.
  • Full professional proficiency in English, both written and spoken.

As a person, you possess the ability to see the greater picture in a complex and dynamic environment where changes in priorities, projects and timing can occur. You have a clear understanding of what it means to boost value creation through innovation and know how to leverage your business understanding on the journey.You enjoy finding ways to solve challenges and co-creating sustainable solutions with stakeholders across the organisation. Last but not least, your excellent communication skills allow you to build strong commitment and relations amongst stakeholders cross functionally.About the department
Assembly is a large department within Device Manufacturing Development (DMD). DMD is responsible for the industrialisation of all medical devices at Novo Nordisk. We are an end-to-end corporate organisation developing products for high volume production, establishing control strategy of the products, improving, and implementing the production equipment at the production sites in different parts of the world.
