Job DescriptionDanfoss Power Electronics and Drives is looking for an experienced Software Engineer, specialized in testing , to join our Software Platform team in Gråsten, Denmark. The team is responsible for delivering quality features for business needs prioritized by the Product Owner. A future where we can help minimize the impact of a growing global population, urbanization and climate change by enabling our customers to optimize food production and electrified transportation via the power of renewable.Job ResponsibilitiesAs our Senior Software Test Engineer, you will become an integral part of a dynamic scrum team. Together, we develop innovative, business-driven features for embedded technologies that power our cutting-edge drive products used by customers worldwide.You will be responsible for developing and improving our state-of-the-art test framework, tools, and practices for our embedded SW development. In addition, you will design, execute, and maintain automated product tests to ensure that our products work as intended throughout development and product lifetime.Responsibilities for this position include, but are not limited to, the following:

• Developing and maintaining features and automated verification test programs for testing software functionality as part of verification and validation.
• Driving software feature testing covering requirement review and analysis, planning, implementation and execution.
• Maintaining automated tests and test environments to support Continuous Integration and Deployment.
• Analyzing regression test runs and evaluating results together with the development team.
• Developing tools and practices to be re-used across our wide product portfolio.

• Programming in Python (Robot test framework) for implementation of tests and C/C++ for test related features in firmware
• Working with Azure pipelines e.g., Azure agents, YAML, PowerShell
• Software tools such as GIT, Azure DevOps, GoogleTest, Robot Test Framework
• Scrum and agile development
• Fieldbus technologies (IEC-61158: PROFINET, EtherNet/IP, EtherCAT, OPC-UA, Ethernet POWERLINK, Modbus TCP etc.)
• Embedded SW or HW related software development and testing and can work with electrical hardware, schematics and test equipment

It is helpful if you have experience in the following:

• Test environments such as simulation (Matlab Simulink), Hardware in the Loop (Typhoon HIL), prototypes, and released products on real hardware
• ISTQB or related certification/knowledge, development of test strategies and test architecture, design of processes, selection of tools, etc.
