  • PhD in humanities, specialising in archaeology.
  • Research experience in Bronze Age archaeology of Poland and Europe, as evidenced by scholarly publications and conference presentations.
  • Ability to communicate via social media (FB, YT) and proficiency in operating SQL databases.
  • Excellent spoken and written English skills.
  • Participation in research projects.
  • Research experience in textile archaeology or ceramology will be an additional asset.

Specific RequirementsResponsibilities and duties: * Participating in the research, administrative and organisational activities of the NCN project SONATA BIS 13, titled “Exploring Textile Imprints on Clay from the 3rd and the 2nd Millennia BCE: Advancing Cutting-Edge Research and Documentation Protocols with Case Studies of Diverse Textile Consumption Contexts” (DEC-2023/50/E/HS3/00094/R).

  • Conducting research tasks related to the documentation, evaluation and interpretation of textile imprints on clay from the 3rd and 2nd millennium BCE from Poland.
  • Conducting comparative research on the phenomenon of textile imprints on clay in Central and Northern Europe.
  • Undertaking tasks related to dissemination of project results, including participation in conferences and publications, as well as communication through media channels.
  • Mentoring the two Scholarship Grantees/Students/PhD Students participating in the project.
