Offer DescriptionThe Dean of the Faculty of Philology of University of Białystok acting on behalf of Rector Magnificus of University of Białystok calls for applications for an associate professor (in the group of research and teaching staff) (one position) from 1.10.2024 for a definite period of time – 30.09.2026 at the Faculty of Philology (Department of Slavic Linguistics, Department of East Slavic Linguistics and Onomastics) in the field of Slavic linguistics, full timeWhere to apply E-mail[email protected]RequirementsResearch Field Language sciences » Linguistics Education Level PhD or equivalentSkills/QualificationsHaving at least a doctoral degree in linguistics with particular emphasis on: research on the political discourse of Slavic languages (analysis of the language of politics); research on the history of the Russian language; research on trends in the contemporary Russian language; comparative research,(When hiring for the position of a university professor, you may employ a person who has obtained an academic degree, art degree or professional title abroad that has not been recognized as equivalent to the corresponding Polish degree or title. The requirement to hold the title of professor, doctoral degree or professional master’s degree may be waived if the person employed has significant scientific, artistic or teaching achievements)Specific Requirementsscientific, artistic or teaching achievements:a) a scientific monograph published by a publishing house included in the list prepared in accordance with the regulations issued pursuant to Art. 267 section 2 point 2 letter a Act or a series of thematically related articles published in scientific journals or in peer-reviewed materials from international conferences, which were included in the list prepared in accordance with the regulations issued pursuant to Art. 267 section 2 point 2 letter b Act or academic textbook.
