On behalf of a prestigious school in Kensington, we are seeking a dynamic and qualified female PE Teacher to join their dedicated team on a part-time basis. This is a fantastic opportunity for a passionate educator to make a positive impact on the health and well-being of students, particularly girls, while maintaining a flexible work schedule.About the Role:
- Deliver engaging and stimulating PE lessons across the curriculum, fostering a love of movement and participation in physical activities.
- Contribute to the development and delivery of the PE curriculum, ensuring it aligns with national standards and promotes a healthy lifestyle.
- Create a positive and inclusive classroom environment where all students feel comfortable and empowered to participate in physical activities, regardless of ability.
- Motivate and support students to achieve their full potential in PE, encouraging them to develop teamwork, sportsmanship, and a lifelong love of physical fitness, with a particular focus on encouraging girls’ participation.
- Collaborate with colleagues in the PE department to further develop the curriculum and resources (as appropriate for the part-time schedule).
The Ideal Candidate (Female):
- A qualified PE Teacher with a proven track record of success, particularly in engaging female students in physical activity.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, fostering strong relationships with students and colleagues.
- A strong understanding of physical education principles and the ability to translate them into engaging and effective learning experiences.
- A passion for promoting health and well-being through physical activity and a talent for inspiring students, particularly girls, to participate.
- The ability to work effectively within a part-time schedule and contribute meaningfully to the PE department.
- A commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children.
