Then EG might be the perfect employer for you.Master Data Officer (f/m/x)Brussels | BE | Full Time | PermanentAbout the Finance DepartmentThe finance department plays a crucial role in our company as it is responsible for managing all financial processes and decisions. The finance department controls income and expenditure while also ensuring effective business running with minimum disruptions. But in addition to its administrative role, the responsibility also includes economic analysis to improve key business strategies.About your roleAs a Master Data Officer, you will be responsible for maintaining the accuracy of the commercial master data across all business systems within EG. This role involves ensuring data consistency, accuracy, and compliance with company standards and regulations in line with our company values. You will work closely with various departments, especially the Financial Planning & Analysis department, to support business processes by providing reliable and up-to-date master data.How you can make an impactData Management:

  • Create, update, and maintain master data records in the company’s ERP and CRM systems.
  • Prepare source files for upload of data to other systems.
  • Ensure the accuracy, completeness, and consistency of commercial master data, including customer, supplier, product, and pricing information.
  • Perform regular data quality checks and audits to identify and resolve discrepancies and errors.
  • Obtain the approved sales and promotion conditions from the DPS
  • Ensure the monthly prices are uploaded in the system and that price lists are distributed to the customers in a timely manner.
  • You assist in the verification process for discrepant invoices based on price or sales conditions.
  • You assist in other master data processes and provide ad-hoc support when necessary.
  • Ensure the master data processes are correctly documented.

Stakeholder Collaboration:

  • Act as the primary point of contact for master data-related inquiries and issues.
  • Collaborate cross functional with sales, Business Intelligence & other departments to understand and fulfill their data requirements.
  • Facilitate communication and collaboration between departments to ensure alignment on data-related initiatives and projects.

What we are looking for

  • Motivated, Energetic and Passionate (MEP).

  • Experience of 1-3 years in a similar master data role is a plus.
  • A bachelor’s degree in finance or equal.
  • Good teamplayer, strong communicator with solid analytical skills.
  • Attention to detail & very good knowledge of Excel is essential.
  • Eager to learn and flexible.
  • Fluent in Dutch or French and English.
  • Knowledge of SAP is a plus.
