Responsibilities:

Conduct environmental exposure modelling of pesticides in various environments.

Run core EU models including SWASH, PEARL, PELMO, and PERSAM.
*

Refine risk assessments with higher tier models and tools.
*

Interpret key EU guidance and regulations.
*

Draft position papers and bespoke refinement strategies.
*

Build technical solutions for environmental risk assessments.
*

Manage GLP studies and derive key environmental endpoints.
*

Write national addenda and draft Registration Reports.
*

Mentor and train junior staff in environmental fate.

Key Requirements:

6 to 10 years of experience in environmental fate of agrochemicals.
*

Proficiency in environmental exposure modelling and EU core models.
*

Experience in refining risk assessments and interpreting EU regulation 1107/2009.
*

Strong track record in preparing draft Registration Reports and national addenda.
*

Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
*

Experience in training and mentoring junior staff is desirable.
*

Proficiency in Microsoft Office and familiarity with statistical analyses and programming.

Location: France – Options of Home Working / Teletravail or Hybrid from Lyon Office
