These five shared values lead every decision we make and action we take, guiding us to deliver impact how and where it matters most.Connect to your opportunityWe are seeking an Insight Research Assistant Manager who can produce high-impact points of views and presentations and feed into thought leadership reports on industry issues to stimulate client discussions. This will be underpinned by a strong interest in business and regulatory activities in the energy and manufacturing sectors. The ability to articulate the impact of climate change and sustainability challenges on these sectors is crucial.In this role, you will have the opportunity too:

  • Work with the Senior Insight Manager to develop insights on key issues impacting our clients
  • Create tailored outputs to support the thinking of our largest and most important clients
  • Design a wide range of research outputs (including short points of view and presentations on topical issues, infographics, data analysis) and contribute to writing reports
  • Present research outputs to a variety of audiences, including internally to Deloitte Partners and practitioners and externally to clients
  • Collaborate with the wider Growth community (e.g. Marketers, our Creative Agency, Public Relations etc.) to support research creation, promotion and commercialisation of our research.

  • You have great communication skills. Your excellent written and spoken English enables you to convey complex insight persuasively and succinctly.
  • Extensive experience in primary research preferably with an energy company, consulting firm, market research agency, research institute in academia or a think tank.
  • Ability to develop strong and effective relationships with senior stakeholders including ability to influence Lead Partners and account teams.
  • A knowledge of energy markets, key industry debates and sustainability challenges.
  • Experience of MS Excel and PowerPoint.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Ability to deal with a degree of ambiguity and use own initiative.
