We are seeking an outstanding academic leader as PVC Education and Student Experience. The successful candidate will work closely with staff and students across the University including its campuses in Dubai and Mauritius. A member of the University Executive Team, the appointee will lead Academic Practice Enhancement, Academic Quality, Student Life, and Student Futures, and will lead on the University’s relationship with the students’ union.The ideal candidate will be an experienced leader with a strong background of whole institution educational reform and innovation. They will bring a demonstrable commitment to students’ experiences, education and outcomes, and will have significant achievements in those areas. They will have a passion for the role of education in social mobility and be able to articulate this through strong communication and leadership skills to convene colleagues across the institution into teams that deliver change. They will most likely possess experience of actions which support TEF and Access and Participation plans and of developing commentaries for those national exercises, and developing academic quality and standards practices.This is an excellent opportunity to make a mark in UK Higher Education.
