We are part of Gi Group, one of the leading multinationals offering personalized Human Resources solutions.At Wyser we are looking for an Expansion Manager based in the city of Madrid for a company specialized in Retail. The ideal candidate will have at least 5 years of retail expansion experience, with a strong understanding of the local market dynamics and regulations.Responsibilities:➢ Lead the expansion strategy for the retail stores in Spain, starting from Madrid to opening new regions, focusing on both retail parks and high street locations.➢ Conduct market research to identify potential store locations and assess market demand.➢ Negotiate lease agreements and coordinate with local authorities for licensing and permits.➢ Build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders in the retail sector, including developers, agents, and local administrations.➢ Oversee expansion projects from inception to completion, ensuring timely and cost-effective execution.➢ Collaborate with internal teams, including real estate, construction, and operations, to ensure alignment with company goals and standards.Requirements:– Located in Madrid or willing to relocate.– Minimum of 5 years of experience in retail expansion, preferably within the Spanish market.– In-depth knowledge of retail opening procedures and licensing requirements.– Proven track record of successful expansion projects in similar retail sectors, such as Bazar stores, discount retailers, and lifestyle brands.– Strong network of contacts in the retail industry, including developers, agents, and local authorities.– Excellent negotiation and communication skills.
