You will participate in the preparation/review of the consolidated financial reporting monthly package and ensure successful audits are performed for the quarterly reporting packages. So, you could be the right person for this role regardless of your age, nationality, religious beliefs, or gender identification.Does this sound like you?You’re a team leader: You engage and motivate others to drive solutions.You’re detail-orientated: You can operate at the detail level when necessary but always focus on the big picture.You’re striving for excellence: You align actions to promote the achievement of team goals, influence others’ activities toward team goals, place a high priority on team performance and help others be successful.You’re proactive: Proactive thinking is essential to identify ways to consistently deliver performance improvements and the drive to put those changes in place.You’re precise: Time management skills are a must to be successful.How you’ll help us.Based out of our EMEA Headquarters, just outside of Amsterdam, Netherlands and reporting to the Head of Group Financial Control, as part of the role, you’ll:Be responsible for the accurate and timely reporting of the International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS) consolidated financial statements for the EMEA region of ASICS.Be responsible for delivering the Dutch GAAP-based annual statutory financial statements prepared for ASICS Europe B.V. which is the main sourcing and distribution entity in EMEA region and contains the regional head office/support functions that reside in the European headquarters in Hoofddorp.Coordinate the external audit process with end-to-end ownership and ensure the timely delivery of all audit requests.Ensure that financial control processes comply with local legislation.Act as a business partner and build a strong professional with other departments (Business Control, Commercial Team, Store Development & Commercial Operation, AP team, Credit Control team, Tax, Treasury etc).Be responsible for engaging team members; coaching and motivating employees to grow and continuously improve processes to work more efficiently and effectively.More about you.Qualification in preferably the Finance/Accounting area.Professional qualification is an advantage (ACCA, CPA).Solid financial accounting background, including significant IFRS reporting experience and experience in the consolidation process.External audit experience is a requirement.Experience in preparing statutory financial statements under Dutch GAAP.Experience in working in a multinational company.Advanced Excel skills.User experience with financial software packages (SAP knowledge is a plus).How we’ll help you.Your wellbeing is our top priority.
