Location: Ashmolean Museum, Beaumont Street, Oxford, OX1 2PHBased in the office during term times, including occasional 3-4 weekend days per year, with the possibility to work from home 1-2 days per week during school holidays.About the roleThe Head of Schools & University Engagement is a key leadership role in the Audiences & Content Directorate, that leads on the strategic development and delivery of engagement and programming (online and onsite) for learners in formal education, for educators and for the Collegiate University of our Oxford community.The postholder will increase our reach and reputation within the schools’ community in Oxfordshire and across the UK, providing a variety of programmes and resources for schools that are ambitious, innovative and meet their everchanging needs.You will develop and implement a data-driven approach to school and university engagement programmes, and revenue generation with greater focus on audience insight. You will review all formal learning projects and programmes to ensure they are optimised for our audience needs and motivation, in line with audience development plan and income -generating targets.This is a permanent, full time post, working 37.5 hours per week. You will be based in the office during term times, with the possibility to work from home 1-2 days per week during school holidays.About youYou will have experience of developing and delivering formal learning (pre-schoolers to sixth form) and university engagement (including students and University and College employees) in a cultural organization.You will have demonstrable experience of management, including strategic planning and reporting, project management skills and experience.You will be proactive, collaborative, self-motivated and solutions-focused with the ability to respond creatively, and with humour, to challenges and to lead through change.What we offerAs an employer, we genuinely care about our employees’ wellbeing and this is reflected in the range of benefits that we offer including:
