We explore new technologies and invest in infrastructure to accommodate hydrogen, biomethane, CO2 and other molecules for a climate neutral future.The Installation Projects team at our office in Brussels (near the train station and subway, ) we’re looking for an Infrastructure Project Leader (m/f/x).Fluxys Belgium, a company active in gas transport, is building a multi-molecule hub for a carbon-neutral future. We are preparing the ground to upgrade our existing infrastructure and we are working on our transport and storage processes for molecules other than natural gas. The Infrastructure Projects department manages all infrastructure projects on the Fluxys grid in Belgium. It is divided into three project teams: Pipelines, Installations and LNG.Job
purposeYou will manage the technical, budgetary, organisational and administrative aspects of our infrastructure modification and extension projects. respon­sibilities

• You will manage, from start to finish, projects involving the construction or modification of gas infrastructure (compressor and pressure-reducing stations, underground storage) and, eventually, innovative projects that contribute to the energy transition
• You will draw up the budget and schedule for these projects
• You will work with various in-house departments and external parties to produce the necessary documents and plans, permit applications, specifications and orders
• During project implementation, you will deal with administrative and technical management, quality control, compliance with safety standards, adherence to the budget and schedule, as well as coordination between the various service providers involved
• You will also be responsible for pre-commissioning and the safe handover of facilities to operations teams

• You have a master’s degree in industrial or civil engineering in electro-mechanics, chemistry or energy
• You have initial experience as a project manager or project engineer, or the desire to acquire initial experience
• You have an interest in the gas industry and the energy transition (hydrogen, liquid or gaseous CO2 and energy saving and renewable energies
• You have a strong analytical and critical mind combined with a pragmatic attitude and a taste for fieldwork
• You have good organisational skills and are very flexible
• You have excellent interpersonal and communication skills and a love of cooperation, negotiation and motivating others
• You are results-oriented and produce innovative solutions
• You have an excellent command of French and Dutch, as well as a good grasp of English

Additionally, this role requires:

• A willingness to travel frequently within Belgium and occasionally abroad
• A category B driving licence
