Job description

  • Work with appointed real estate brokers to appraise market options, undertake due diligence and progress from long-list to short-list for potential office move projects (Stay vs go)
  • Lead on the production of business cases for projects (moves/refurbs) including detailed financial analysis for new projects and work on presentations for internal approvals.
  • Work with real estate brokers and legal partners to finalize lease agreements for offices in scope
  • Identify and define project scope, milestones, deliverables, and scheduling, while managing the timeline from initiation to completion & occupation
  • Build trusted business relationships with all cross-functional teams to ensure positive and collaborative working relationships and the achievement of cost and time objectives.
  • Collaborate with senior management to help achieve our organization’s goals in Europe.
  • Monitor the status of each project in terms of cost, quality and planning alongside local PMs.
  • Manage project-related contracts and track orders, billing, and costing.
  • Coordinate weekly reports and general update of all ongoing projects in terms of design progress, target cost, deadlines and raise any technical issues of each of the projects.
  • Work on bidding, negotiating and preparing all general contractors, local Project Managers and other vendor contracts.
  • Negotiate construction contracts and change orders directly with the contractors and vendors.
  • Support and coordination of local Project Managers.
  • Oversee the purchase, coordination of delivery and installation of furniture to PageGroup offices across Europe.
  • Identify and mitigate project risks.

Construction Project Manager|PageGroup SSC

  • A degree in field relevant to the assigned project (technical architect or architect).
  • At least 5-7 years of experience in Construction Project Management.
  • Expertise in delivering office fit out projects typically from CAT-A to CAT-B – specifically in terms of managing Design & Build/General Contractors, furniture + other key suppliers.
  • Experience of working with brokers to identify potential target options, undertake due diligence/financial analysis/site visits to support short-listing and selection of preferred location
  • Expertise in production of business cases detailing stay vs go decision financials.
  • Expertise in executing and overseeing fit out as well as installation of office furniture.
  • Fluent English.
  • Previous experience of delivering fit-outs on a European regional basis is essential, and experience of working in an international firm is also preferable
