Merit Medical EMEA, (~400 employees in 20+ countries) is headquartered in Maastricht, The Netherlands.
We are now looking for a HR Generalist to provide support in various areas of Human Resources.JOB DUTIES

  • Assist with the administration and execution of HR programs, policies and procedures including but not limited to compensation, benefits and leave, occupational health, performance and talent management, recognition, and recruitment
  • Ensure a smooth onboarding process of new hires
  • Handle routine employment-related queries from employees, applicants, and supervisors/managers
  • Assist with the development and implementation of HR initiatives and projects
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date employee records and data in Workday
  • Perform other related duties and tasks as required

QUALIFICATIONS & SKILLS

  • Education and/or experience equivalent to a bachelor’s degree in Human Resources or related field and one year of general Human Resources experience.
  • General knowledge of all facets of the human resource function in organizations
  • Thorough knowledge of employment-related laws and regulations
  • Solid organizational skills and the ability to work under strict time constraints
  • Good IT skills, experience with Workday or other HR system is an advantage
  • Excellent communication skills with people from different levels in the organisation
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and demonstrate teamwork capabilities
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to act with integrity, professionalism and confidentiality.
  • Fluent and professional level of Dutch and English, any other European language is an advantage
