(PDF, 220.16kb)Sessional Music Lecturer – Reigate School of ArtCollege location: East Surrey College (Redhill)Hourly pay rate: £33.30/hour (£27.93/hour + £5.97/hour as payment for annual leave)Hours: 9 am – 4 pm on TuesdaysWe are currently seeking to appoint an inspirational and enthusiastic Sessional Music Vocalist Lecturer to join our Art, Design and Media department teaching Level 2 and Level 3 Music.As part of your role you will plan, prepare and deliver high quality sessions to learners, and take part in the lesson observation process, whilst also ensuring clear communication is upheld and that you are fully compliant with departmental requests. You will work effectively as part of the Music Performance & Production delivery team, getting involved with setting up various events & performances for Music students.You will ensure a safe and comfortable learning environment by observing safeguarding responsibilities, promote attendance and embed Equality and Diversity at all times.Working closely with management and the rest of the Reigate School or Art team, this rewarding post will give you the chance to share your knowledge and skills with learners to help them achieve at the highest level as well as driving continuous improvement within the College.The successful candidate must have:

• A teaching qualification Level 3 or above
• Teaching experience of FE / UAL preferable for further sessional opportunities
• Experience of working with learners with high needs
• Relevant degree or equivalent industrial or professional qualification
• Maths & English GCSE / Level 2 equivalent
